Texting Collection Attempts from Your Computer

Other Office Information

You may use your computer to send a Client a text message to his mobile phone with up to 160-characters.  This is easy and a great opportunity.

1.  go to https://www.carrierlookup.com/   Enter Client’s 10-digit phone number, follow through to get his Carrier’s Domain Name:

[https://www.carrierlookup.com/  is limited to one per day but the office will pay the $10 for better service if you would like it.]

Here are the domain names of some popular carriers:
  Carrier              Domain Name
    AT&T:                  @txt.att.net
    Metro PCS:       @metropcs.sms.us
    Nextel:               @messaging.nextel.com
    Sprint:                @messaging.sprintpcs.com
    T-mobile:           @tmomail.net
    U.S. Cellular:      @email.uscc.net
    Verizon:              @vtext.com
    Virgin Mobile:   @vtext.com

2.  Address your email by inserting client’s name with or without a space after the last name,
then “<“
then his 10-digit mobile phone number with no spaces, dashes or parentheses
then his carrier’s Domain Name from above (for example:  @txt.att.net)
then “>”
Examples:   Don Smith <7758850551@vtext.com>  or  Sally Smith<7758850552@txt.att.net>

NOTE:  when you enter it on gmail, don’t worry if it appears as:  Don Smith (vtext.com).
If a Client responds with his mobile phone by text, you will normally get his reply via email.

If Staff likes and begins to use this method, upon request ML could store Clients’ Computer to text phone addresses with a link that automates your email to him; then only type your message and send it.
