NetQuest Instructions
Use ML to record and track the people you network with. It all counts toward the NetQuest Awards number (17).
Go to the Dashboard menu “Advanced Transactions”, “NetQuests” to see prior entries. You can filter entries by date range and Staff or “Search” for a specific one by name.
Add new entries by selecting “Add New Net Quest” in the upper right corner or via “Advanced Transactions”, “NetQuests”, “New”.
1. Enter NetQuestee’s Gender, First Name, Last Name, NetQuester (you); Communications Type; address, phone, email, etc.
2. Add whatever is appropriate in Message fields.
3. Add whatever is appropriate in Notes such as the description of person, how you know this person, circumstances of your encounter, follow up expected, etc.
4. Save.
If Office money was spent, for IRS records Mollie needs First and Last Names of all guests to put into the FM check file; and a NetQuestee entry in ML must be made.
Networking may be as big as going to an event with the purpose of getting our name out there, and as small as leaving your business card with your server at a restaurant. Almost anything qualifies so long as the mandatory fields in ML are completed. Hopefully, we will see Icons on the calendar that can be tracked back to someone’s specific NetQuest. When that happens and the Icon hires us, $1,000 could be coming your way.
