4/24/14 Marilyn approved this for her consults only. If it works good for a few months, we’ll likely extend it to Associates Icons.
Business Staff – when scheduling an Icon appointment FOR MARILYN ONLY, say to the person:
“We need your credit card information to reserve your appointment. If you no show your appointment without canceling it, your credit card will be charged $100.”

IN ACTUAL PRACTICE, PRETEND TO TAKE THE ICON’s CREDIT CARD INFO BUT DO NOT KEEP IT ANYWHERE – WE WILL NOT ACTUALLY CHARGE FOR NO SHOWS.
When calling to remind the person the day before the Icon, say:
“I’m calling as a friendly reminder that you have an initial consultation with Marilyn tomorrow at ? a.m./p.m. Please show up or cancel your appointment so your credit card will not be charged $100.”

The above procedure will hopefully –
1. lower the no shows
2. discourage unmotivated schedulers and
3. improve % Icon Conversions to Clients.
