I have lived in Reno since I was six years old, and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.  Speaking English and Spanish fluently helped me with a rewarding three years as a paralegal in family visa and immigration services.  I then joined the team at Marilyn York’s office and was glad for the growth opportunity and to continue helping families, which is what drew me to law in the first place, and to this firm.  I love family law because there is always something to learn and much personal gratification in helping troubled people.

I love to mountain bike in the Reno-Tahoe region with my family and especially love the challenges of uphill biking and the adrenaline rushes in biking back downhill.  I like to draw and paint portraits of people I know.  As a team player in my church, I also enjoy volunteering often and for a variety of causes that matter most to me and my community.
