   Mollie Gittens, Office Manager/Coordinator

Hi! I've lived in Reno since 1997, after graduating from high school in Truckee, CA, and living it up in San Diego for the following year. I decided to move here and attend UNR to be close to my family, and also give Reno "a shot." I've grown to love this town, and am proud to call it home. I love to travel... as a matter of fact I had just returned from a three month tour through Europe when being blessed with my position at this office. I realize that we live in a great big world with so much to see and life to experience. When home bound, I spend a lot of time with my friends and family and love interior design/decorating.

When I was introduced to Marilyn York and her staff I felt passionate about what she represents. I've never known of a law firm that solely protects father's and men's rights. It's different, wonderful and somewhat hits close to home. Divorce is a difficult process, but it is extremely important to remember that children need BOTH of their parents. I know this by personal experience and also by getting to know our clients and their children when they're in our office.

I spent my early years in Truckee, but from the age of six and on I've been back and forth between Minnesota and California due to my parents divorce. This was quite hard for my sisters and me, not having our father in our everyday lives... usually only short visits two thousand miles away. To this day my dad is one of my favorite people and I'm so fortunate to have a good relationship with him, considering the lost time growing up. He still lives in Minnesota and I make the trip at least once a year to visit him, my wonderful step mom and younger siblings.

I have become very close to the girls I work everyday with and enjoy learning from each of them. I love my job as a legal assistant, for there is never a dull moment and I am challenged everyday as I learn more and more about family law. I feel very proud to be a part of this team and of the successes of many of our cases. I understand that every client has their own, unique and sensitive situation and it's important to be conscious of this as we do our best to make each client feel comfortable and at home... I am the one who meets and greets when clients phone or enter our office, and I look forward to hearing from you!
