ALTHOUGH OUR PRIMARY NICHE IS WASHOE COUNTY CASES

WE ALSO TAKE SOME CLOSEBY COUNTY HIGH ASSET OR OTHER COMPLICATED CASES

(Clients can live anywhere.)

Washoe County:        Reno, Sparks, Incline Village etc.

Carson City County:   Carson City

Churchill County:       Fallon, etc.

Douglas County:        Minden, Gardnerville, etc.

LyonCounty:             Fernley, Yerington, etc.

Our primary niche is Washoe County since we are located in Reno. We serve clients whose cases are in Washoe County very efficiently and it does not matter where our Clients live.

The above listed closeby counties have few lawyers that practice Family Law and none that we know of that practice Family Law exclusively like we do. Therefore we feel compelled to offer our expertise and Family Law experience in these counties for big cases. Because of the extra travel time and expense required of Clients and of our Lawyers for Court appearances, we only take High Asset Cases or Complicated Cases there.

"High Asset Cases" are cases where the Combined net worth of both parties exceeds $200,000; and our Client would need a good credit rating and good income or have a Guarantor with good credit and good income. Such Net Worth usually includes some complicated investments.  During a Divorce, this leads to challenging evaluations for splitting assets fairly. Often a "Forensic Accountant" is worth bringing in as a consultant. High Asset Cases often include concerns over one or more of the following -

1.  Owned Businesses

2.  Retirement Accounts

3.  Investment Accounts

4.  Real and/or Personal Property owned jointly or separately

5.  High and/or Complex Debt

6.  Commingled Accounts

7.  Protecting Credit Ratings

Other "Complicated Cases" we take are typically expensive, time consuming and nerve racking for the Clients, for example:

1.  Custody fights over children

3.  TPO’s (Temporary Protective Orders)

5.  Child/Spousal Support

6.  Visitation issues

7.  Combative or vengeful parties

8.  You fired a Miscreant Lawyer and are looking for a good one

9.  You have a Miscreant Opposing Lawyer
